MOHW attends the intergovernmental meeting on the final review of the Incheon Strategy

The Ministry of Health and Welfare attends ‘the High-level Intergovernmental Meeting on the Final Review Asian and Pacific Decade of Persons with Disabilities, 2013-2022’ held in Jakarta, Indonesia from October 19 (Wed) to 21 (Fri). Minister Cho said, "As there are about 700 million persons with disabilities in the Asia-Pacific region, the Incheon Strategy is extremely relevant for the global issue of persons with disabilities.” He added, "As we finalize the Incheon Strategy, MOHW will introduce the Korean government's efforts and achievements, and emphasize cooperation among the member states for promoting the rights of persons with disabilities in the Asia-Pacific region.“
