Title : Administrative Officer Grade :P.3 Official station (country) : Kinshasa (Democratic Republic of the Congo) Organizational Location/Unit : Regional Office for Africa (AFRO) WHO Representative\''s Office Objectives of the programme : To provide technical cooperation, stimulate interest and coordinate support towards health development, based on global and regional strategy and WHO guidelines. The successful candidate will : Provide advice on programme matters, managerial problems encountered in project execution, and administrative support involved in day-to-day running of the WR Office. Advise staff/consultants assigned to country on personnel, financial immigration and protocol matters. Qualifications Required : Education and Skills : University degree with public or business administration or equivalent ; advanced qualifications in specialization of business or health services administration or management will be assets. Sound knowledge of office management and administration, administrative skills, basis accounting ; ability to maintain excellent human relations with persons of all categories and nationalities; specialized knowledge of WHO administrative and financial rule, and procedures and practices will be an asset. Experience : Five years at national level in general or public administration at supervisory level; at least 3 years\'' experience in various units in support programmes in an international organization ; experience in WHO preferably in a Regional Office or WR\''s Office would be an advantage. Languages : Excellent knowledge of French or English and a good working knowledge of the other; knowledge of Portuguese would be an asset. Annual salary (net of tax) : US$ 46 445 at single rate and US$ 49 756 with primary dependants. Post Adjustment: 6.4% of the above figures. This percentage is to be considered as indicative since variations may occur each month either upwards or downwards due to currency exchange rate fluctuations or inflation.
